She does this by taking the time to listen to you and your concerns, thoroughly explaining the results of your eye exam, and describing your treatment options. Dr. Marsh is well trained in prescribing glasses and contact lens, co-managing cataract surgeries, fitting the latest scleral or medically necessary specialty contact lenses, treating dry eye syndrome, managing glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy, and providing routine eye care.
Dr. Marsh graduated from Gardendale High School in 2000. She married husband, Jamie Marsh, at Gardendale Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church in 2004. Soon after Dr. Marsh was inspired to become an optometrist and even shadowed Dr. Howard Day. She attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she received 3 degrees: graduated Magna Cum Laude Bachelor of Science degree; completed her Master’s in Vision Science; earned her Doctor of Optometry degree.
Dr. Marsh completed a family practice residency at the Northeast State University Oklahoma College of Optometry where she was afforded the opportunity to work in the Indian Health Hospital and serve the Cherokee nation. She also achieved her fellowship through the American Academy of Optometry.
